The gripping head unit can be adjusted to handle drums of various heights and diameters. Its robust steel gripping jaws automatically open and close during the pickup operation, securely gripping the rim of the drum. When the forklift mast is tilted back, the drum’s weight causes the steel jaws to lock in place, ensuring a tight grip for transport—the heavier the drum, the tighter the grip.

How To Use
1. Pull up behind the drum with the unit slightly tilted forward. Lower the gripping jaws over the top ring on the drum.
2. As the lower jaw strikes the rim, the top jaw opens. Once the lower jaw is under the rim, tilt the mast back and lift to engage the drum, ensuring a secure grip.
3. Transport, then lower the drum until it is fully resting on the ground. Tilt the mast forward to release and slightly raise mast to ensure it has detached
